Pablo Sultana - Photographer & Visual Artist

"...My work ostensibly concerns our surroundings; both the natural and built environment; how we react to what is around us, and in turn how we alter our locale. I`m intrigued by the aesthetic beauty of the everyday, the minutiae, the mundane and the often overlooked.

Having been a childhood photographer, developing my own photographs and photograms from the age of 12 years, I`ve spent the past fifteen years or so “unlearning and deconstructing” these restrictive traditional skills and practices.

Having independently sold images mainly in Europe and the US over the past 2 years, I have recently started exhibiting, the first of which was in Birmingham in 2006."

Pablo is a founder member of "(untitled) " fine art photography collective.

Pablo has recently been announced as one of the new artists to be selected for Rhubarb Farm (see http://www.rhubarb-farm.net)

A documentary study from within one of the oldest surviving , family run Jewellery manufacturers in the world.

"Faith, Respect & Dependency" (Dec 06-Ongoing)

A personal view of one man`s belief and support systems through studying innanimate objects around him.

"Cycle of Recovery" (May 2005 -Jun 2007)

Pictorial evidence of Natures` tenacity and its` aesthetic viability in conjunction with human intervention.
